Alair Homes Eyes Sunshine State
The Canadian homebuilding franchise is seeking territory in Florida.
Canadian homebuilding franchise Alair Homes is looking to enter the Florida market. The company is seeking experienced contractors who want to own their own business, while having corporate support in accounting, customer service, operations and more.
The Canadian brand launched in the U.S. with an Arizona franchise a little over a year ago and plans to aggressively expand and "add another 10 franchises by next month, including its first ones in Florida." They have already been in talks with potential franchisees in Polk County.
Alair is one of two franchise brands in the home contracting services industry in North America.
They hope to attract "previously independent contractors, he said, but the company has also recruited people in related real estate industries interested in starting a new home building company" who can grow their business in the area. Alair hopes to have over 100 homes built in Florida within the next few years.
The company has targeted the area because of its recent growth and decline in inventory of unsold homes.
