Kavita Venkatesh aims to bring approximately 25+ units of the chicken wing concept to the midwestern state. Venkatesh is a food industry veteran with over a decade of experience in the QSR segment. Intending to leverage her extensive industry experience, she recently signed with Atomic Wingsan emerging New York-style Buffalo chicken wing franchise, to open 25+ units in Illinois.

“I’ve been in the food industry for the past 10 years, and have a lot of experience and understand what the customers want,” said Venkatesh. “I was looking for something new, and that’s when I came across Atomic Wings. Everybody loves wings, and this brand has excellent products and awesome sauces and rubs. I’m proud to join this team and share these delicious wings statewide.”

As Venkatesh researched similar food industry franchises, she was drawn to Atomic Wings because of its desirable products, culture of support and proven business model. The brand is led by franchisees and designed for franchisee success, making it all the more appealing to prospective owners.

“I was attracted to Atomic Wings for so many reasons,” she said. “The product itself is phenomenal — recently, the brand introduced chicken sandwiches, which are doing very well. Other than that, I looked at the brand and its leadership. I saw great things about [CEO] Zak Omar. He really cares about franchisees, customers and the products, ensuring that the wings are always fresh, never frozen. The brand goes above and beyond to give customers a great experience.”

Ultimately, Venkatesh aims to spread the Atomic Wings brand throughout Illinois. Her goal is to bring approximately 25+ restaurants to the state, as she is confident that the Illinois community will embrace the concept.

“Illinois is very diverse, which works well for Atomic Wings, as opposed to other concepts, because everyone loves wings,” said Venkatesh. “The brand has proven itself in other diverse locations, so I have no reservations about bringing it here. I know it will do well.”

Atomic Wings is expanding nationwide, and there has never been a better time to inquire about franchise ownership in Illinois. With a culture of support, caring and a commitment to quality, franchisees are given all the tools needed to establish thriving restaurants. And with abundant white space across the U.S., franchise owners are welcome to grow their portfolios with multiple units.

The total investment necessary to begin the operation of an Atomic Wings restaurant is $155,900 to $338,500. The total investment necessary to begin the operation of a multi-unit developer business for a required minimum of three Atomic Wings franchises is $197,900 to $381,000.
