Atomic Wings Franchise Primed for Growth With Brothers Zak and Ray Omar At The Helm

Since taking over the franchise, the Omar brothers have continued to expand the business across the U.S., even in the age of COVID-19.

Brothers Zak and Ray Omar were not looking to own a franchise business when they met with Atomic Wings founder in 2014, but today, as CEO and President, respectively, they have grown the company from two locations to 11. 

A recent article in Crain's New York describes Zak and Ray’s journey from successful Dunkin’ franchisees to franchisors with the fast-growing chicken brand. After meeting with Atomic Wings’ founder, both parties discovered that the Omar brothers had the passion, skills and experience required to make the most of the brand’s growth potential. 

But taking over a company as a franchisor is no easy task. “For us, the biggest thing was just building the infrastructure around the brand,” Ray told Crain's New York. “The brand was really distinguished in New York City, but in terms of supply-side management, back-of-the-house operations and just professionally updating the brand, it needed a newer image.”
