Atomic Wings Sales Increase Amid Pandemic as More Americans Look for “Game Day” Meals
The New York-based wing franchise has seen rising sales during the COVID-19 pandemic, with results partially attributed to small sports-related gatherings.
Atomic Wings has been defying the COVID-19 odds.
According to CNN Business, many wing restaurants, both franchised and independent, have been experiencing sales increases as sports come back to TV screens. Fans may be watching and rooting for their favorite teams at home, but they still want the food that can give them that “game day experience.” For many, that food is wings.
“We have seen as much as 100% sales increase in some of our locations,” Atomic Wings CEO Zak Omar told CNN Business.
