Paris Baguette, the global bakery café franchise with over 150 units in the U.S. alone, is slated to open its first Connecticut café later this year. Because Paris Baguette already has a significant presence in the Northeast, Eric Lavinder, chief development officer, says the brand will resonate with Connecticut residents.

“I think Connecticut will be a fantastic market for our brand. We’re really excited,” Lavinder told the Hartford Courant. “We focus on areas that have room for growth.”

The first Connecticut café is expected to open in Stamford later this year, with franchisees currently working to secure real estate. They will open the flagship location in the state, but Lavinder says the brand hopes to continue growing throughout Connecticut, including locations in the greater Hartford area.

With cakes, breads and pastries baked fresh daily, Paris Baguette brings a refreshing, high-quality experience to the markets they enter.

“We feel we bring added value,” said Lavinder.
