Courtney Wells has spent six years nurturing her passion for education and supporting the minds of tomorrow with Sylvan Learning, a 750-plus unit supplemental education franchise.

The opportunity, she said, just sort of fell into her lap.

“My love resides in education and giving back and helping to support people who need the extra push and motivation to start accomplishing the goals they’ve set for themselves,” Wells said. “I had a good friend and colleague who had started with Sylvan franchising and really talked it up, saying it was something I should apply for. So I did!”

Wells said she loves seeing the people she works with thrive, whether they’re colleagues or students, and she knows the importance of a solid support system.

“Having someone you can lean on so you don’t feel so discouraged in challenging times is something I personally have really benefited from — not just throughout this pandemic, but throughout my entire franchising career,” Wells said. “It’s really important to find someone you can talk to or lean on for support.”
