Lubbock, Texas, continues to show strong economic trends with Mayor Tray Payne specifically highlighting the city’s 2023 economic growth. 

It’s another optimistic sign for Melting Pot, the 93-unit fondue franchise that is looking for its next partner in the Lubbock community. 

“The thing about Lubbock is we are extremely strong, economically, but we’re also very resilient,” Payne told KCBD-TV. “We’re a very diverse economy. We have areas in education, in agriculture, in food, in fiber — we have all areas.”

Payne continued to say that this diversity supports Lubbock’s economic stability, even when larger economic trends may seem less hopeful.

Melting Pot offers a unique opportunity to partner with an established brand and bring more life to an already thriving community. While franchisees don’t need to have restaurant experience, a commitment to connection and community is an important trait.

Melting Pot has a unique connection to people,” Collin Benyo, franchise growth strategist, told the outlet. “Our CEO, Bob, says it’s not about what happens in the pot but about what happens around it. That is something we pride ourselves on.”
