Melting Pot, the iconic 93-unit fondue franchise, is looking to grow in Mississippi. To kick off its expansion, the team is looking to establish one restaurant in Jackson. Areas around Brandon and the northern parts of Jackson are favorable for development, but thanks to the strength of the brand and flexibility of its real estate model, other locations could be considered.

“Jackson is a viable city with growth on the horizon,” said Collin Benyo, franchise growth strategist. “The three market segments that we have found provide a foundation for any Melting Pot to grow and sustain success can all be found in and around Jackson; this is a city that we don’t want to sleep on.”

Melting Pot is known for the great experience and family-like atmosphere it brings to the markets it enters, and it is looking to expand with franchisees who have similar values and priorities.

“Jackson is a city that attracts people who want to get away from the high market housing that can currently be found across the country,” added Benyo. “Yet, this vibrant city still caters to families, professionals and people looking to be entertained. Bringing a Melting Pot dining experience to this area would be an opportunity for someone looking to become a business owner in a great community for decades to come.”

With a focus on its people, Melting Pot works to establish a strong support system that can empower a passionate franchisee, even one who has zero restaurant experience, to succeed. During the development process, the franchisor offers a support team that can simplify the real estate selection process — a great add-on to an already flexible real estate model. They also offer qualified, versatile financing partners to support franchisees in securing the funds they need to launch the business confidently and an entire team of experts at the Restaurant Support Center to support owners through all phases of their development.

Next year, members of the development team will be visiting the Jackson area to meet with prospective partners in their own domain and get an even better feel for the area.

As it focuses on growth in Jackson, Melting Pot is also looking to expand in markets throughout the south including Memphis, Houston, Birmingham, Charleston, Fort Worth, Greensboro, Chattanooga, Huntsville and Montgomery.
