United Defense Tactical is a firearm and self-defense training concept that teaches everyone, including civilians, military members and law enforcement officials at any level, dynamic reality-based self-defense skills that they can use to respond to real-world threats.

United Defense Tactical’s first training center was founded in Costa Mesa, California in 2018 by Wes Fox, a firearm instructor who wanted to teach the public skills to adequately assess a threat, remain calm under pressure and ultimately save lives.

How Many United Defense Tactical Locations Are There?

United Defense Tactical is an emerging franchise concept and only started offering franchise opportunities in 2023. Since then, it has awarded roughly six franchises and has even more in development.

The brand is actively seeking to work with both single- and multi-unit franchisees and is focused on expanding all over California; along with Las Vegas, Nevada; Dallas, Texas; and Tampa, Florida.

What Is United Defense Tactical’s Business Model?

At its core, United Defense Tactical’s business model revolves around preparing individuals for real-world scenarios by teaching them a variety of useful self-defense skills such as how to assess, communicate, de-escalate, move and function in high-pressure scenarios.

According to its website, the brand’s proprietary firearms and self-defense curriculum covers everything from fundamentals to active shooter training in classes that are taught by specially trained instructors in state-of-the-art facilities. United Defense Tactical says its reality-based threat training concept takes a “cutting edge” approach to training individuals how to respond to real threats, and employs advanced technology and laser-based immersive simulations to create a highly realistic training environment.

For prospective franchisees, owners receive access to the curriculum, proprietary technology, comprehensive training and protected territory rights, marketing support, operational guidance, technical support, and preferred partner networks. The brand does not require its owners and operators to have any previous experience, as they will be trained in all aspects of running a successful firearm and self-defense franchise.

Additionally, United Defense Tactical says its business model is a “smart investment” because it offers a simple and recurring revenue model, as it attracts a diverse membership base that is willing to pay for top-tier services.

How Much Can United Defense Tactical Franchise Owners Make?

United Defense Tactical does not have a publicly available Item 19.
